The PlayStation Blog article only mentions PS5. “ Neverness to Everness (NTE for short) is a supernatural urban open-world game set to release for free on PS5,” said the game’s producer Kee Zhang. The official press release does mention that the game will be released for multiple consoles, however, so Neverness to Everness may also launch on Xbox Series X|S or the next Nintendo system as well. Currently, Hotta Studio’s last game Tower of Fantasy is available on both PS4 and PS5. Neverness to Everness runs on Unreal Engine 5, so it’s unlikely to be released on past generations of platforms like the PS4 or Xbox One. What engine is Neverness to Everness on? As previously mentioned, Neverness to Everness is being developed with Unreal Engine 5. It will likely see a graphical boost from Hotta Studios’ last game, Tower of Fantasy. The initial press release claims the game will be “boasting cutting-edge NVIDIA DLSS rendering and ray tracing technology.” All Neverness to Everness characters confirmed so far So far, we have been given information on three characters in Neverness to Everness so far. They include: Mint Nanally Sakiri# No male characters have been revealed for the game yet. Mint is a part of Containment Unit 2 and is apparently a rising star within the company. She knows a lot about Hethereau and the people that dwell in it. She can be very chatty, but only during off-hours. In battle, she’s a dual-wielded badass. Her intro skills have her make flowers that cause damage while you’re attacking. She can also create a thunderous storm around her. Nanally is a kind, wise, and calm character you’ll meet at the antique shop Eibon. She’s helped with multiple major Anomaly containment and nullification operations, including the “Fluffy Demon King Showdown,” “Danzabourou’s Revenge,” and more. She has a special move called the Coloccis Ultimate Death Shadow Nether Punch, which sounds deadly to watch in person. Her weapon is melee-focused with punches and kicks. Nanally can also go into kitty mode to climb walls and ceilings in the open world. Sakiri is a little kid who has a pet/hammer anomaly called Kiroumaru. We don’t know too much about this character, but she is the rule maker for the fridge sticky notes at Eibon. This character is an adorable bean, and she can use her weapon as a mount for traveling. She can cause a lot of damage with Kiromaru. You’ll also control your main character. They have a sword at hand and can strike foes with hard-hitting attacks that seem to split reality. What is the gameplay of Neverness to Everness? This game features action-RPG combat similar to Genshin Impact and Tower of Fantasy. You’re switching between four party members as you’re fighting supernatural enemies in the game. Each character has their own special abilities to add to the fight. For example, Sakiri slams her heavy hammer anomaly Kiroumaru towards foes in an epic attack. In the open world itself, you’ll be able to drive cars to get around the city like in Grand Theft Auto V. The city looks pretty big, so it’s a good feature to have. The press release says the game “offers a variety of lifestyles for the players to choose from: modify sports cars, manage businesses, etc., and experience a vibrant urban life in the way you like.” You’ll also own your own apartment or perhaps even a house in the game. You’ll be able to customize your cars with things like sprays, different paint, wheels, and spoilers. It will likely be fun to buy all sorts of sports cars in the game, such as GTA Online. With the day and night cycle, it should be stunning to see your car’s lights beaming within the elements like rain. T he Lonely City by Olivia Laing looks at loneliness in its emotional and psychological dimensions, using New York City as a metaphor for isolation. The book is half-memoir, but also delves into the lives of the city’s most compelling artists — Andy Warhol, Edward Hopper and David Wojnarowicz — all of whom used art to explore their own feelings of isolation and the attendant ugliness. Laing emphasises that loneliness is about the emotional distance between people, often exacerbated by modern society’s emphasis on individualism. As grief and isolation became the norm during the pandemic, different people navigated the storm of their emotions in different ways. The COVID-19 pandemic and multiple lockdowns promoted remote work culture and social distancing has scarred people socially in different ways. For Arunima Singhal, 20, the pandemic was one of the darkest times of her life. Her family grappled with a deep wedge of isolation, each member waking up, doing the chores only to go back to sleep. “There seemed to be barely any point reaching out to people because I wasn’t sure what to talk about. I remember it just really felt like I had to push myself to exist.” Many people also find it hard to remember the person that they were prior to the pandemic, which forms the passageway to feelings of guilt, depersonalisation, and detachment. “I finally started to understand Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb,” says Singhal, as she laughs. Tanishqa Mathur, 24, talks about how the pandemic felt like it was a whole other world. “Even though my friend and I found different ways to stay in touch (like watching online movies), we couldn’t trust the reality of virtual connections, and since there was no certainty as to when or if the pandemic would end, loneliness held a sort of gravity.” Now, she says, the pandemic changed how she views all of her relationships with her friends and her romantic partners. Gen Z is also one of the first generations to fully grow up with so much technology at the press of a button, which seems to have acted as a catalyst to enable things to spiral out of control. While grief and isolation became prevalent in COVID era, it’s aftermath still persists in various ways. Though screens have bridged the distances amongst people, it has also left people emotionally drained. “Many people are now connecting online, but these interactions lack the warmth of face-to-face contact, leaving people feeling detached,” says a Mumbai-based psychotherapist, Neha Mehta. Loneliness has come across a public health crisis in the past few years and is often linked with suicide, mental health disorders and substance abuse. Many school and college students are struggling to adjust and reconnect with their peers after two years of online learning. The increasing consumption of social media and digital interactions during the COVID era has left many people, especially the youth feeling a sense of “digital isolation.” WHO estimated that 10% of adolescents and 25% of old people in India are alone. Yoon said in a televised address early Wednesday that he will “accept the National Assembly’s demand and lift the martial law through a cabinet meeting,” which he said he had called but its members hadn’t yet arrived. He will immediately lift the martial law when they convene, he said. Yoon, 63, stunned the nation, lawmakers and investors earlier by declaring martial law in a high-stakes move he claimed would prevent the opposition from trying to paralyze his administration amid a political rift that is set to deepen markedly. The South Korean leader’s political future will be put to test after his daring move, which caught even his fellow party members and foreign allies like the U.S. by surprise. “I request the National Assembly to immediately stop the reckless acts of paralyzing the functions of the state through repeated impeachments, legislative manipulation, and budget manipulation,” Yoon said in his earlier televised address. After Yoon announced he would lift the decree, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said its troops that had been mobilized for the martial law declaration have returned to their original posts as of 4:22 a.m., Yonhap reported. No unusual activities have been spotted from North Korea, it added. The move was viewed by analysts as a risky political play that was likely to backfire rather than an attempt to return to military-led regimes of the past. But Anthony Richardson’s third-and-8 pass to wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. just after the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter was pivotal to holding off the visitors’ late rally. If the Colts were forced to punt in that situation, a defense that had allowed touchdowns on three consecutive drives — of 70, 55 and 71 yards — would be back on the field with tremendous pressure to prevent the game going to overtime. Richardson was cold and out of rhythm. He’d been sacked on his most recent pass attempt — on third-and-9 with 6:51 remaining — and he hadn’t gotten a pass off since throwing an incompletion intended for wide receiver Josh Downs at the 11:20 mark. With the dual-threat quarterback and running back Jonathan Taylor combining for 270 of Indianapolis’ single-game franchise-record 335 rushing yards, Richardson had not completed a pass since the 8:33 mark of the third quarter, and he was just 1-for-2 in the second half. Still, he was calm and composed on the crucial third down — hitting Pittman on a simple out pattern to move the chains and keep the clock moving. When the Colts finally did punt the ball back to Tennessee, there were only three seconds remaining for the Titans to work with, It was a forgettable play in the grand scheme of the game, but it was also the most recent evidence of the 22-year-old quarterback’s ability to raise his level of play in the clutch. He’s 3-2 as a starter since taking the role back from veteran Joe Flacco, and the other two victories featured game-winning touchdown drives in the fourth quarter. “I think that’s a special trait — obviously as a young player — that he doesn’t flinch in those times, to lead those comebacks,” Colts head coach Shane Steichen said. “Obviously, the (New York) Jets, the New England (Patriots) game, I mean, those are big-time drives to go win games. “You want that out of young players, especially (when) you see the veteran guys do it around the league all the time, but to do it as a young player speaks volumes of the person that he is.” Despite Richardson’s up-and-down season, Indianapolis has maintained steadfast belief in his potential. Even when he was benched for Flacco, the organization repeatedly stated it was not giving up on the quarterback as its future leader. There’s still plenty of work to be done. Richardon has completed just 47.7% of his passes, and he’s thrown 12 interceptions in 11 starts. His rushing ability again was evident Sunday, and he’s set franchise single-season records for a quarterback with 499 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns. And he has proven his big-play ability with a league-leading 14.4 yards per completion. The Colts still believe improved consistency will come with increased reps, and they hold out hope the fourth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft can still become the long-term answer at the game’s most important position. For now, Richardson’s late-game heroics offer the most compelling argument in his favor. “I think it’s just me just playing all the way until the clock hits zero,” Richardson said of his mindset. “I never think about fourth quarter moments or anything like that. I just try to play until the game’s over. And it just happens sometimes that most of it happens in the fourth quarter. So I just try to play through the whistle and just play through the whole game.” After rushing for 218 yards and three touchdowns against the Titans – both the second-highest single-game totals of his career – Taylor has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. It was a major bounce-back performance after Taylor’s unforced fumble just short of the goal line cost the Colts dearly in a pivotal loss against the Denver Broncos a week prior. “It’s always exciting to see that dude just do what he does,” Richardson said. “It’s fascinating, honestly, just to see him hit a gap and just take it to the house.
