Our correspondent recalls that Rufai was installed as Mogaji of Omotara family by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin on Monday 14th October, 2024. The traditional title holder also tasked parents to endeavour to give their children all the necessary support they need to compete with their colleagues across the globe. “I wish to thank all our fathers and mothers who are present here and those who are unavoidably absent due to one reason or the other. I will extend my greetings to all my brothers and sisters who are here and those who are not here at the moment, my kinsmen who came from far and near to witness this occasion, I thank you all. “I will also use this opportunity to pray to God Almighty to grant the souls of our kinsmen, the departed souls within our family who have passed on to the glory, eternal rest. I want to appeal to our kinsmen to continue to train their children in God’s ways. Those who are schooling should be given appropriate attention for them to excel. Those who are learning trade or vocation should also be supported and given the appropriate support to be an independent person. No knowledge is a waste. I will appeal to you to take the training of our children seriously because they are the future of our family. “We should endeavour to give our children all the necessary support they need in order to compete with their colleagues across the globe and I pray that God Almighty will give us the wealth to do so. I want to appeal to our youths to shun violence, drug abuse, thuggery and other social vices that can put their names and names of the family in disrepute. “Lastly, I want to appeal to all and sundry to join hands with me to bring the name of our family on the world map for positive things”. (AP) — Deshawn Purdie threw a 47-yard touchdown pass to O’Mega Blake for the go-ahead score and Charlotte defeated Florida Atlantic 39-27 on Saturday in a game that matched two new interim coaches. Charlotte (4-7, 3-4 American Athletic Conference) fired Biff Poggi on Monday and Tim Brewster took over. FAU (2-9, 0-7) fired Tom Ferman, also on Monday, with Chad Lunsford taking charge. After Blake’s third touchdown catch of the game that came with 5:25 left, the 49ers extended their lead when Tyriq Starks was strip-sacked by Ja’Qurious Conley and 335-pound Katron Kevans carried it 22 yards into the end zone. Blake made five catches for a career-high 205 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown. Purdie was 16 of 30 for a career-best 396 yards passing with the three scores plus an interception. If you're after a quality perch for your gaming setup, it's hard to beat Secretlab's Titan Evo. When we tested it, we were blown away by how comfortable the headrest was, and we found the overall build quality to be top-notch. Similarly, we lauded the Magnus Pro, one of Secretlab's best standing desks , for its sleek design, easy assembly, and clever magnetic organization accessories. Now, what if I told you you could save money if you bought them at the same time? As a part of Secretlab's contribution to the mania of Black Friday sales coming out this week, the brand is offering a $179 discount on a bundle of these two exceptional bits of furniture. You'll have to hop on this deal quick, as we have no clue how long these models will stay discounted and in stock, but you can take it from us: we've tested both of these pieces thoroughly, and we'd buy them again in an instant. To be clear, both the Magnus Pro and the Titan Evo are discounted on their own, but the total money saved increases when you put them together. On their own, they total up to $99 in savings, but bundling them knocks off an extra 70 bones. To get this deal, all you have to do is navigate to the promotions page on Secretlab's site and hit the "Configure Now" button under the "Essential Chair and Desk Bundle" To be clear, this isn't the biggest deal we've seen this Black Friday on home office equipment, but the combination of two Editor's Choice models is what really makes this deal shine. The Titan Evo is one of the best gaming chairs we've tested thanks to its sturdy build, and the Magnus Pro is similarly reliable. Both have a 5-year warranty in case you somehow manage to put a dent in either, and the Titan Evo especially gets more comfortable as you use it. In the case of the Magnus Pro, it'll grow into your gaming room setup naturally as you play around with all the included magnetic organizational bits. As I said earlier, we have no idea how long this bundle deal is going to last, but we expect it and many other Black Friday deals to run through their stock with haste this week. As such, we definitely recommend biting the bullet if you've been holding off until the right time to upgrade your gaming experience.IoBM’s 27th Convocation: Celebrating the Leaders of Tomorrow
